The Brooklyn Hospital Center in New York named Joseph Fetto, MD, chief of orthopedics, according to a Brooklyn Daily Eagle report.
Here are four things to know:
1. Dr. Fetto most recently served as a clinical associate professor in the department of orthopedic surgery at NYU Langone Medical Center in New York.
2. He focuses on hip and knee reconstruction; and he developed the Lateral-Flare Internal Collar, a new design for total hip femoral components.
3. He has completed a fellowship in sports medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
4. Dr. Fetto is board-certified and has had his work published in prestigious journals, such as American Journal of Orthopedics.
