Here are five spine and neurosurgeons making headlines.

Neurosurgeon Rafeek Woods, MD, joined Lakeland Health in St. Joseph, Mich.


Zackary Child, MD, joined the Tahoe Center for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.


Huntington, W.Va.-based Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine welcomed Nicolas Phan, MD, to its neurosurgery department.


Neurosurgeon Lon Alexander, MD, joined Rush Health in Chicago.


John Caruso, MD, joined WVU Medicine's neurosurgery department and will serve as director of neurological surgery at the W.Va.-based Berkeley Medical Center.
