Trump or Hillary? The physicians have voted

Practice Management

Hillary Clinton is more popular among physicians than Donald Trump, according to a poll by Aprima Medical Software.

Ms. Clinton edged Mr. Trump by 48 percent to 36 percent in voting that was open throughout the Aprima 2016 User Conference.

In the anonymous poll, 85 physicians and their clinical and administrative staff voted for the candidate they thought would most benefit their practice. Twenty-three different specialties were represented with the largest concentrations from Texas and Michigan.

Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein received 11 percent and 5 percent of the vote, respectively.
