Here are eight device company mergers, acquisitions and agreements.

Medtronic purchased Crospon Limited, an Irish-based medical device company, in an estimated $44.8 million deal.


Emerging Implant Technologies finalized its contract with HealthTrust regarding an agreement with Hospital Corporation of America.


NuVasive signed a definitive agreement to acquire SafePassage, a privately held intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring services provider.


DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson company, partnered with Johnson & Johnson Finance Corporation to provide financing options for its Hana Orthopedic Surgery Table.


New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery and pSivida partnered to create an implant that improves knee osteoarthritis pain.


Wright Medical Group acquired a software-based solutions developer for preoperative planning of shoulder replacement surgery.


Centinel Spine completed the acquisition of the worldwide assets of prodisc total disc replacement.


RTI Surgical acquired minimally invasive treatment developer Zyga Technology. Details of the acquisition were not disclosed.
