11 sports medicine physicians on the move — March 15, 2017

Here are 11 sports medicine physicians who have recently joined hospitals or practices or gained promotions:

Providence, R.I.-based University Orthopaedics added osteopathic and sports specialist George Pasquarello, DO, to its practice.

 

Nikhil N. Verma, MD, of Chicago-based Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush was named the Chicago White Sox's head team physician.

 

Orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist Rolf Langeland, MD, joined Newport (R.I.) Orthopedics.

 

Hibbings, Minn.-based Fairview Range welcomed orthopedic sports medicine surgeon Leo Hise, DO, to its practice.

 

Cheektowaga, N.Y.-based UBMD Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine announced Heidi Narins Suffoletto, MD, will rejoin the practice in mid-March.

 

Jeffrey Haasbeek, MD, Robert Cummings Jr., MD, Thomas Kneifel, MD, and Luc Perrier, MD, of New York-based Canton-Potsdam Hospital will offer orthopedic and sports medicine consultations at Gouverneur (N.Y.) Hospital.

 

Brian Morgan, MD, and David Stokes, MD, now offer orthopedic and sports medicine services at OrthoAtlanta's Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Gwinnett office.
