Dr. Todd Lanman to teach course on motion preservation

Spinal neurosurgeon Todd Lanman, MD, will conduct an online course on motion preservation Oct. 2-3 during the 2nd Annual Advances in Motion Preservation.

Designed for spine surgeons, the course will cover expanded indications for artificial cervical disc replacement and trends in preserving spinal mobility.

Technological advances in motion preservation as well as innovations in virtual and augmented reality will also be discussed.

Dr. Lanman is founder of Lanman Spinal Neurosurgery in Beverly Hills, Calif., and has practiced spine surgery for more than 30 years.

In August 2019, he became the first surgeon to perform artificial disc replacement procedures at three levels of the cervical spine.

He has also operated as principal investigator of several FDA-approved clinical trials, including the Prestige LP and M6-C artificial discs.
