Englewood, N.J.-based The Center for Musculoskeletal Disorders surgeons performed a Mazor Robotic Renaissance System kyphoplasty on a patient experiencing pain from a T12 fracture. The outpatient procedure, performed in an office-based setting with sedation, was the first of its kind in the United States, sending the patient home the same day, according to the press release.
