Dan Scavilla is CEO of Globus Medical, which merged with spine devicemaker NuVasive in 2023.

1. Mr. Scavilla joined Globus Medical in 2015 as CFO and later served as executive vice president, chief commercial officer and president of the trauma segment. He was promoted to president and CEO of the company in 2022.
2. This year he is looking ahead to Globus Medical's knee robot launch, according to a November earnings call. During the third quarter of 2023, the company saw a 51% increase in year-over-year sales.
3. Mr Scavilla is also a member of Globus Medical's Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. He has been on the company's board of directors since 2022.
4. He previously worked at companies including Johnson & Johnson, Advanced Sterilization Products and McNeil Consumer Healthcare, according to his LinkedIn profile.
5. Mr. Scavilla has an MBA in international management from Temple University in Philadelphia.
