7 things to know about Stryker's CEO

Kevin Lobo began his tenure as Stryker's CEO in 2012. Here are seven things to know about him:

1. Mr. Lobo first started working at Stryker in 2011 and was group president of orthopedics before he was promoted to CEO. In 2014, he was named chair of the board.

2. In 2023 he oversaw historic sales, and the company's revenue surpassed $20 billion for the first time.

3. He won the Ellis Island Medal of Honor for his career at Stryker in August. Mr. Lobo was born in India and raised in Canada, and he was recently naturalized as an American citizen, according to CBS affiliate WWMT.

4. Mr. Lobo is on the board of directors for arker Hannifin and the Advanced Medical Technology Association.

5. Mr. Lobo has worked across multiple indistries with companies including KPMG, Unilever, Kraft Canada and Johnson & Johnson.

6. His pay for the 2022 fiscal year was $1.3 million, along with $15.3 million in equity pay.

7. One of his big focuses in 2024 will be Stryker's spine robot. Mako Spine is expected to launch during the middle of 2024 and will incorporate upcoming devices, Mr. Lobo said in a November 3 earnings call.
