Orthopedic device company searching for new CEO

Luigi Ferrari is stepping down as CEO of LimaCorporate, which is installing an interim CEO while it looks for a replacement, the orthopedic company said April 13.

Four notes:

1. After leading LimaCorporate for nearly 10 years, Mr. Ferrari is leaving the medtech company to pursue other opportunities.

2. Mr. Ferrari will continue to serve as a senior adviser to the advisory board and assist with the leadership transition. He will also retain an equity stake in the company.

3. Emmanuel Bonhomme, president of Europe, Middle East and Africa at LimaCorporate, will serve as interim CEO while a selection process to appoint a new leader begins.

4. Mr. Bonhomme joined LimaCorporate in 2018 after more than 25 years in executive roles at pharmaceutical and medical device companies, including 16 years at orthopedic companies.
