Robert Nascimento, MD, and Tim Foster, MD, will lead a partnership between Boston-based Mass General Brigham and Boston College athletics.
Dr. Nascimento is head team physician and medical director at Boston College, and Dr. Foster is chief of orthopedics and sports medicine at Newton (Mass.)-Wellesley Hospital, according to a March 31 news release.
The partnership will provide medical support for Boston College's sports teams at the varsity and club levels. Clinicians will also work with student-athletes on training, injury prevention and game-day medical care.
Mass General Brigham provides care to other sports teams, including the Boston Bruins, New England Patriots and New England Revolution.
