An orthopedic surgeon leader with Zimmer Biomet and nine more surgeons to know:

David Argo, MD. Beacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine (Cincinnati). Dr. Argo specializes in sports medicine and earned his degree and completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine in Memphis. In 2021, he earned AlloSource's Dr. Steven Gitelis Inspiration Award for his work with allografts.

Gloria Beim, MD. Alpine Orthopaedics (Gunnison, Colo.). Dr. Beim founded Alpine Orthopaedics in 1999. She began her college education at 14, received her medical degree at University of California at San Diego School of Medicine in La Jolla, Calif. and completed her residency at the New York Orthopedic Hospital in New York City.

Henry Blum, MD. Houston Methodist (Bellaire, Texas). Dr. Blum's clinical interests include arthritis surgery, arthroscopy and spine surgery. He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston and completed his residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.

Mark Easley, MD. Duke Orthopaedics and ASC Arringdon (Morrisville, N.C.). Dr. Easley's areas of expertise include ankle replacement, achilles tendon repair and foot injuries. He received his medical degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville and completed his residency at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte (N.C.).

Nitin Goyal, MD. Inova Health (Falls Church, Va.). Dr. Goyal has 16 years of experience and specializes in hip and knee replacements. He was named as Zimmer Biomet's first chief science, technology and innovation officer.

Michael Khazzam, MD, UT Southwestern Medical Center (Dallas). Dr. Khazzam joined UT Southwestern in 2011 and specializes in shoulder injuries. He reportedly performed the state's first augmented reality-assisted shoulder replacement with Wright Medical's Blueprint Mixed Reality technology in June.

Wren McCallister, MD. Edmonds (Wash.) Orthopedic Center. Dr. McCallister specializes in hand and upper extremity care, including nerve compression disorders and arthritis. Along with his medical degree, he received an MBA from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Raymond Metz Jr., MD. Core Orthopedics and Sports Medicine (Elk Grove Village and Hoffman Estates, Ill.). Dr. Metz joined Core Orthopedics in 2014 and specializes in elbow and hand surgery. He received his medical degree and completed his residency at Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.

Douglas Miller, DO. Orthopedic & Sports Medicine Specialists (Green Bay, Wis.). Dr. Miller's areas of expertise include knee and hip replacements and fracture care. He received his medical degree at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Ill. and completed his residency at St. James Hospital and Health System in Chicago.

John Scullin, MD. University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (Pittsburgh). Dr. Scullin treats adults 21 and older. He received his medical degree from St. Louis University Medical Center and completed his residency at Cleveland Clinic.
