From a robotic surgery pioneer joining New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery to two physicians forming a new medical advisory council, here are the latest orthopedists making the news:

Martin Roche, MD, was appointed director of hip and knee arthroplasty at HSS Florida in West Palm Beach.

Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health's Brent Knudson, DO, completed the region's first total knee replacement with Zimmer Biomet's Rosa Knee.

Benedict Nwachukwu, MD, and Riley Williams III, MD, became the first members of a newly formed medical advisory council.
