Andrews Research & Education Foundation launched an online platform for sports medicine practitioners through a partnership with software provider Smart Horizons.
Five points:
1. Dubbed Andrews Education, the platform offers continuing education on the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries, as well as on enhancing human performance and quality of life.
2. Andrews Education has home study, livestream and conference options to accommodate busy practitioners.
3. A lecture series available on Andrews Education through livestreaming will feature sports medicine experts and leaders from around the world.
4. The Andrews Research & Education Foundation is led by orthopedic surgeon James Andrews, MD.
5. Dr. Andrews is a founding partner of Gulf Breeze, Fla.-based Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. He is one of the leading orthopedic surgeons in the world, and his center is internationally recognized for its sports medicine treatments.
