Here are ten orthopedic surgeons making headlines.

James Andrews, MD, repaired the torn ulnar collateral ligament of Atlanta Braves pitcher Jacob "The Strikeout Factory" Lindgren and will perform Tommy John surgery on Oakland A's top pitching prospect A.J. Puk.

Bryan Kelly, MD, performed  arthroscopic hip surgery on Los Angeles Lakers guard Isaiah Thomas at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

Craig Lippe, MD, and Chad Fortun, MD, joined Southport, N.C.-based Dosher Memorial Hospital's medical staff

After experiencing lingering foot pain March 23, New York Yankees prospect Greg Bird visited Martin O'Malley, MD, who confirmed the prospect had a small bone spur in his right ankle that will need to be surgically repaired.
