OrthoPediatrics revenue jumps 22% to $12.4M in Q3: 6 things to know

OrthoPediatrics Corp. reported its third quarter results for fiscal year 2017.

Here are six things to know:

 

1. The company's total revenue was $12.4 million, a 22 percent increase from the same quarter of 2016.

 

2. The company generated gross profits of $9.5 million in the third quarter.

 

3. OrthoPediatrics' total operating expenses were $10.2 million, up 33.4 percent from the third quarter the year prior.

 

4. During the third quarter, the company's net losses were $1.5 million, slightly greater than net losses of $0.8 million for the same quarter of 2016.

 

4. OrthoPediatrics launched the following products this quarter: PediFrag Pediatric Specific Clavicle Plate and Medial Patella Femoral Ligament Reconstruction System. The additions boost the company's portfolio to 22 surgical systems.

 

6. Additionally, the company completed its initial public offering, earning $59.8 million in gross proceeds.
