Nashville-based Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance welcomed Justin West, MD, to its team.
Here are five notes:
1. Dr. West specializes in sports medicine, shoulder and knee arthroscopy and shoulder replacement.
2. He also focuses on anterior hip replacement, minimally invasive partial and total knee replacement as well as cartilage preservation and restoration techniques.
3. Dr. West has previously served as a team physician for the San Diego Chargers and San Diego Padres.
4. A member of American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, Dr. West is also affiliated with the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
5. He completed his sports medicine and shoulder surgery fellowship at San Diego Sports Medicine and San Diego-based Scripps Clinic at Torrey Pines.
