Here are five orthopedic surgeons making headlines this week.

Boston-based Brigham and Women's Hospital welcomed Richard Wilk, MD, as chief of hip preservation services.


Michael Maggitti, MD, joined Southeastern Orthopedics in Lumberton, N.C., the Robesonian reported.


Community Memorial Hospital in Hicksville, Ohio, welcomed Vincent Waldron, MD, to its specialty clinic staff, the West Bend News reported.


Tyler Noble, DO, a fellowship trained joint replacement surgeon, joined Coastal Orthopaedics in Conway, S.C.


Syracuse (N.Y.) Orthopedic Specialists welcomed Kevin Kopko, MD, to its joint replacement team, the Business Journal New Network reported.
