Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs, Colo., is planning a new orthopedic center that could cost up to $15 million, according to a Steamboat Today report.
Here are three notes:
1. The new orthopedic center, along with plans to expand the emergency department and pediatric programs, will cost an estimated $23 million.
2. Currently, the hospital includes three orthopedic surgeons, none of whom are employees of the hospital.
3. The proposed plans will be implemented in summer 2017.
