Stephen D. Palmer, DPM, received the outstanding service award at the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association meeting on April 15.
Here are five things to know about Dr. Palmer:
1. Dr. Palmer practices with Rockville, Md.-based Foot and Ankle Specialists of the Mid-Atlantic. He is also the associate chief of podiatric surgery at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Md.
2. He focuses on sports medicine, arthroscopy, reconstructive surgery and limb salvage.
3. He is a fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons and an associate of the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine.
4. He earned his doctor of podiatric medicine degree at New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
5. He completed his residency and surgical training at a number of institutions, including the University of Utah Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
