Frederick Barnes, MD. Mountain Valley Orthopedics (East Stroudsburg, Pa.). Dr. Barnes earned his medical degree at Cornell University Weill Medical College in New York City. He completed his residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, now the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark. Dr. Barnes is the vice president of the Monroe County Medical Society.

John Belzer, MD. California Pacific Orthopaedics (San Francisco). Dr. Belzer earned his medical degree from Yale University in New Haven, Conn. He completed his residency at the University of California San Francisco and his fellowship at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute in Los Angeles. He is chair of San Francisco-based California Pacific Medical Center's orthopaedic surgery department.

Joseph Buckwalter IV, MD. University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics (Iowa City). Dr. Buckwalter earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa College of Medicine. He completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics. Dr. Buckwalter recently earned the Distinguished Contributions to Orthopaedics Award from the American Orthopaedic Association.

Kevin Chen, MD. Illinois Bone and Joint Institute (Des Plaines). Dr. Chen earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed his fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Dr. Chen was given the Outstanding Service on the Hand Surgery Service Award from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2013.

Craig Della Valle, MD. Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush (Chicago). Dr. Della Valle earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed his residency at the Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City and his fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago and Northwestern Medicine Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, Ill. Dr. Della Valle was recently elected second vice president of the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association.

Dana Desser, DO. Florida OrthoCare (Delray Beach, Fla.). Dr. Desser earned his medical degree at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa. He completed his residency at Memorial Hospital in York, Pa., and his fellowship at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore.

Frank DiFazio, MD. Ochsner Health (New Orleans). Dr. DiFazio earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in Burlington. He completed a fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He was previously a clinical assistant professor at the New York Medical College in Valhalla.

Michael Graham, PhD, MD. NorthWest Spine Center (The Woodlands, Texas). Dr. Graham earned his medical degree and completed his residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. He completed his fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Graham has authored and co-authored several research articles about spine surgery.

John Meehan, MD. UC Davis Health (Sacramento). Dr. Meehan earned his medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at the UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento. He was given the Clinical Practice Award from the Current Concepts Institute, a continuing medical education organization, and the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation in 2011.

Frederick Song, MD. Princeton (N.J.) Orthopaedic Associates. Dr. Song received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, now known as the Sidney Kimmel Medical College, in Philadelphia. He completed his residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and his fellowship at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic of the Carolinas in Greenville, S.C. Dr. Song is an associate instructor for the Arthroscopy Association of North America, where he instructs surgeons on shoulder arthroscopy techniques.
