Grand Forks, N.D.-based Valley Bone and Joint Clinic on Jan. 1, 2023 will join Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Sanford Health and operate as Sanford Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Grand Forks, the Grand Forks Herald reported Dec. 20.
The practice has six physicians, a physician assistant and a family nurse practitioner, the report said. Current patients will be able to keep seeing their physicians at the same locations.
"We have a long history of excellence in orthopedics and sports medicine in the region," Valley Bone and Joint Clinic surgeon David Schall, MD, said in the report. "Our focus to expand care to more patients and strengthening community partnerships matches Sanford's."
