The Kansas City Business Journal recognized Missouri-based Sporting Kansas City's $75 million training center Pinnacle with a Capstone Award, which honors the best new developments in the metropolitan area.

Pinnacle National Development Center in Kansas City, Kan., is one of three awardees in the architectural design category. This is the fourth Sporting Kansas City facility to receive the award in the last eight years.

Sporting Kansas City shares the Pinnacle site with U.S. Soccer and Children's Mercy Kansas City (Mo.), making it the first collaboration between a professional sports team, national sports federation and sports medicine provider.
