The American Association's Chicago Dogs named Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush the team's official physicians.

Here's what you should know.

1. The Chicago Dogs are an independent baseball team in Rosemont, Ill.

2. As a result of the partnership, MOR team physicians will provide medical services to the players before and during the season.

3. MOR physicians also oversee care for the Chicago Bulls, Chicago White Sox and Chicago Fire Soccer Club.

Chicago Dogs Owner Shawn Hunter said, "The Chicago Dogs take great comfort knowing that our players will be cared for by the fifth-ranked orthopedic group in the country, including Drs. Brian Cole, Gregory Nicholson and Jeremy Alland. MOR physicians are national leaders in the field of sports medicine and we are proud to partner with them as we enter our inaugural season in Chicagoland."
