Dr. Neal EIAttrache performs knee surgery on Oklahoma City Thunder's Patrick Patterson: 4 takeaways

Oklahoma City Thunder forward Patrick Patterson underwent knee surgery performed by Neal EIAttrache, MD, according to News OK.

Here are four takeaways:


1. Dr. EIAttrache performed arthroscopic surgery on Mr. Patterson's left knee.


2. Mr. Patterson is expected to return in September for training camp.


3. Dr. EIAttrache will re-evaluate Mr. Patterson's knee in four to six weeks to determine when he will be available to return.


4. The Thunder reported that there was no structural damage to Mr. Patterson's knee at the time of the injury.
