Richard D. Parker, MD, performed knee surgery on Washington Wizards' point guard John Wall, according to The Washington Post.

1. Dr. Parker performed procedures on Mr. Wall's right and left knees.
2. He took loose particles out of Mr. Wall's right knee and removed calcium deposits from Mr. Wall's left patella tendon.
3. Mr. Wall is expected to have recovered and be ready by the start of next season.
4. Dr. Parker is president of Cleveland Clinic's Marymount Hospital and past chairman of the department of orthopedic surgery at Cleveland Clinic.
5. He focuses on sports medicine and arthroscopic knee surgery.
6. He is the head team physician for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
