Alexander K. Meininger, MD, of Steamboat Orthopaedic Associates, PC in Steamboat Springs, Colo., performed a successful anatomic coracoclavicular joint reconstruction on professional motocross and BMX racer William B. Cash.
Dr. Meininger is currently an official team physician for the United States Ski Team and previously served as a team physician for the Chicago Fire soccer team and the Chicago Sky WNBA basketball team.
Dr. Meininger received his medical degree from Rush University in Chicago before completing an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Illinois in association with Illinois Bone and Joint Institute. Dr. Meininger also completed a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Chicago.
