Lawrenceville, Ga.-based Sports Medicine South presented Linda Jones Memorial Scholarship Awards to numerous senior football players at local high schools, according to a Gwinnett Daily Post report.
The awards amount to around $22,000, and criteria for the awards include academic excellence, community service and outstanding demeanor on and off the football field, according to the report.
Sports Medicine South is an orthopedic surgery and sports medicine practice in Gwinnett County, which offers the full spectrum of musculoskeletal care as well as on-site physical therapy.
