Kevin Crawford, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, has been named medical director and head orthopedic physician for Texas Tech Athletics in Lubbock, according to a report from KFYO.
Dr. Crawford has served as a team physician for the U.S. Ski and Snowboard team and he provides care for local high schools. He earned his medical degree at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical branch in Dallas, where he also completed his residency.
Dr. Crawford is a member of several professional organizations, including American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
