David Dines, MD, medical director for the APT Tennis Tour, and Joshua Dines, MD, team physician for the US Davis Cup Tennis Team, recently performed arthroscopic elbow surgery on elite tennis player Sam Querry at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
The elbow pain forced him out of competing at Wimbledon, and he has a goal of recovering in time to compete in the US Open. The arthroscopic surgery to remove loose bodies from his elbow was successful, says Dr. Joshua Dines, and he has already begun physical therapy.
