Here are 16 orthopedic surgeries for professional athletes. Cardinals first baseman Lance Berkman will undergo a second, season-ending knee surgery. The procedure, which will be performed by Houston-based orthopedic surgeon Mark Adickes, MD, is the fourth on his right knee.
