Center for Advanced Spine Care surgeon gets TV time

Kai-Uwe Lewandrowski, MD, from Tucson, Ariz.-based Center for Advanced Spine Care was featured on Kold News 13's "Noon Notebook" segment.

During the segment, Dr. Lewandrowski discussed the effects of chronic low back pain, from debilitating pain to fractured relationships between family and loved ones.

The author of 61 papers and 30 book chapters, Dr. Lewandrowski specializes in minimally invasive surgery. He is an American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery diplomate and holds multiple patents.

After earning his medical degree from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany, Dr. Lewandrowski completed his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, Brigham and Women's Hospital and Beth Israel Hospital, all in Boston, through the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program.

He went on to undergo combined orthopedic and neurosurgery fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic.
