Here are nine spine and neurosurgeons who joined new practices in July.

Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care welcomed Demetrius Lopes, MD, to the Advocate Brain & Spine Institute.

Roland Torres, MD, joined the University of Miami Health System.

Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital welcomed Timothy Miller Jr., MD, to its Marcus Neuroscience Institute.

Spine surgeons Timothy Peppers, MD, and Jamieson Glenn, MD, joined the orthopedic surgery division at Scripps Clinic in San Diego.

Orthopaedic Associates of Southern Delaware in Lewes welcomed spine surgeon Abimbola Afolabi, MD.

Drew Brown, MD, joined the Laser Spine Institute in Tampa, Fla.

Boulder, Colo.-based BoulderCentre for Orthopedics welcomed Benjamin Bjerke, MD.

Andrew Cappuccino, MD, joined Niagara Falls (N.Y.) Memorial Medical Center.
