In a $50 million lawsuit, former neurosurgery resident Rylan Brantl, MD, alleges N. Scott Litofsky, MD, created a hostile work environment and subjected him to abusive behavior as a MU resident from 2008 through 2013.

A judge ordered James Chappuis, MD, and his practice to pay a $8,970 over their personal injury business model.

The co-founder and manager of Dallas-based Forest Park Medical Center agreed to plead guilty to bribing physicians, including spine surgeons Douglas Won, MD, and Shawn Henry, MD, to perform high volume and lucrative surgeries.

Boca Raton (Fla.) Regional Hospital welcomed Timothy Miller Jr., MD, to its Marcus Neuroscience Institute.
