8 spine surgeons & neurosurgeons on the move in December 2017

Here are eight spine surgeons and neurosurgeons that joined new organizations, moved locations or received promotions in December 2017.

Huntington, W.Va.-based Marshall Health welcomed spine surgeon Tom Reinsel, MD.


The Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City tapped Viviane Tabar, MD, to serve as chair of neurosurgery.


Novant Health Brain and Spine Surgery in Charlotte, N.C., welcomed its first pediatric neurosurgeon, Erin Kiehna, MD.


Orthopedic oncologist Anne Normand, MD, joined Essentia Health-Duluth (Minn.) Clinic.


F. Todd Wetzel, MD, joined Bassett Healthcare Network as chief of orthopedics.


Sadaf Khorasani, MD, joined the staff of The Charles H. Kaman Foundation Neuromuscular Center at New Britain, Conn.-based Hospital for Special Care.


Baptist Memorial Health Care and Semmes Murphey Clinic, both based in Memphis, Tenn., opened the Brain & Spine Network in Oxford, Miss. Neurosurgeons LaVerne Lovell, MD, and Paul Klimo, MD, lead the facility alongside others.
