Grant D. Shifflett, MD, joined Marina Del Rey, Calif.-based DISC Sports & Spine Center.

1. Dr. Shifflett recently completed his spine fellowship at Chicago-based Rush University.
2. During his training, Dr. Shifflett also completed a traveling fellowship in Japan, focusing on complex cervical reconstructive spine surgery.
3. Dr. Shifflett completed his spine surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
4. He has authored many pieces on minimally invasive and reconstructive spine surgery.
5. Dr. Shifflett treats simple and complex cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal conditions.
