SpineCenterAtlanta receives more patients with Back Pain Centers of America's help: 5 observations

Spine

Since joining Back Pain Centers of America, SpineCenterAtlanta has seen an increase in patient volume.

Here are five observations:

1. BPCA connects neck and back pain patients with physicians in their area.

2. SpineCenterAtlanta founder, James Chappius, MD, added another surgeon, Julio Petilon, MD, to help with the case volume.

3. BPCA connected more than 200 people with SpineCenterAtlanta in 2015 through spine-related educational material on conditions, diseases and treatments.

4. To become affiliated with BPCA, physicians must be board-certified and in good standing with the state medical board.

5. "We have seen a positive return on our investment as fractionalized marketing services rather than bearing all the costs ourselves to be able to educate patients," said Tim Marlow, chief offering officer, SpineCenterAtlanta. "Caring for patients is our business. Costly marketing should not have to be."
