26 spine surgeons recently on the move in 2015

Here are the spine surgeons that recently joined new practices in 2015:

St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark., welcomed Khaled M. Krisht, MD.



Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit named Sandeep Mittal, MD, chairman of the neurosurgery department.



Orthopedic spine surgeon Kendall Carll, MD, joined North American Spine in the Plano, Texas, location. He'll treat patients at Plano Surgical Hospital.



Laser Spine Institute named neurosurgeon Reginald J. Davis, MD, director of clinical research, a newly-created role.



Orthopedic surgeon Mark Freeborn, MD, and his practice joined EvergreenHealth in Kirkland, Wash. The practice is now called EvergreenHealth Spine & Neurosurgery Care.



Orthopedic spine surgeon James Cole, MD, joined Johnson Physician Network and will see patients in Franklin, Ind.



Simi Valley (Calif.) Hospital designed a new program for cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine, scoliosis and deformity surgery and welcomed orthopedic spine surgeon Alen Ardalan Nourian, MD, to the staff.



Tuan Bui, MD, a spine surgeon focused on adult degenerative cervical and lumbar spinal conditions, traumatic spinal injuries, motion preservation technology and minimally invasive spine surgery, joined OrthoAtlanta.



Minimally invasive spine surgeon Dale T. Landry Jr., MD, joined Orthopaedic Associates in Fort Walton Beach, Fla.



Vagmin Vora, MD, joined The Center for Spinal Disorders in New York and New Jersey after completing fellowships at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Medical Center in Ohio and Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.

 

Neurosurgeon Cynthia Zane Africk, MD, joined FirstHealth Neurosurgery in Dayton, Ohio, after more than 20 years of experience in spine.



Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond named Alex Valadka, MD, chair of the neurosurgery department. He succeeds Harold F. Young, MD, the founding chair.



Lincoln Jimenez, MD, joined Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola, Fla., with a special interest in vascular neurosurgery and spine surgery.



Santa Rosa Medical Group in Milton, Fla., welcomes Todd Prochnow, DO, an orthopedic spine surgeon.



Neurosurgeon R.J. Meagher, MD, joined Laser Spine Institute's Philadelphia facility.



Atlanta-based OrthoAtlanta welcomed Kevin U. Park, MD, who completed a spine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.



Sacred Heart Health System in Pensacola, Fla., welcomed Charles Wolff, MD, a neurosurgeon who completed a spine surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine.



Neurosurgeons Brian McHugh, MD, and Gail Rosseau, MD, joined Woodbridge, Va.-based Inova Medical Group.



Khoi Tran, MD, will now see patients at Longview (Wash.) Orthopedic Associates.

 

Oklahoma City-based INTEGRIS added Nate Stetson, DO, to its physician team.

 

Beverly Hospital added Anne Normand, MD, to its medical staff.

 

The International Association of HealthCare Professionals welcomes neurological surgeon Anthony J.G. Alastra, MD, to its organization.

 

William S. Bodemer, MD, will join Premier Bone & Joint Centers, based in Laramie, Wyo., in January 2016.

 

White Plains (N.Y.) Hospital added Adesh Tandon, MD, to its surgical oncology practice and cancer program.

 

Seth A. Grossman, MD, has joined The Center for Spinal Disorders in Englewood, N.J.

 

Santa Ana, Calif.-based World Spine Care appointed John A. Taylor, DC, its imaging consultant.
