Spine

Advanced Spine Institute in Houston will join the Back Pain Centers of America network.

Here are four things to know:

1. BPCA is a network that helps connect people searching for solutions to their neck and back pain to a reputable physician in their area.

2. According to Robert Talac, MD, PhD, and chief of surgery at ASI, this will help more people learn about their minimally invasive and laser spine treatments.

3. Formerly of the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Talac completed his fellowship in spine surgery at the Center for Spine Health Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland. He also completed a fellowship in surgical oncology in Europe, and has a diploma in minimally invasive surgery from the University of Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France.

4. President of BPCA, Brent Wheeler, said ASI has an outstanding medical team and staff, and that Dr. Talac has a unique patient commitment to see them himself within 48 hours.
