Cerebrovascular neurosurgeon Alexander Drofa, MD, joined Sanford Brain & Spine Center in Fargo, N.D.

 

Janet R. Maurer, MD, MBA, was named to the North American Spine Foundation's board of directors.

 

Neurologist Oliver Sacks, MD, died at 82 years old from liver cancer.

 

Barrow Neurosurgical Associates in Phoenix welcomed neurosurgeon Laura Snyder, MD.

 

Neurosurgeon Anthony Jabre, MD, will head the growing Bay Pines (Fla.) VA Healthcare System's spine care program at the C.W. Bill Young VA Medical Center.
