Laser Spine Institute Scottsdale (Fla.) is celebrating its two-year anniversary in January, according to a practice news release.
The Scottsdale facility had its grand opening in January of 2009 and received AAAHC accreditation in July 2009. Since then, Heidi Gwynn has been named executive director of the surgical center.
Laser Spine Institute Scottsdale is also celebrating the success of chief spine surgeon Michael C. Weiss, DO, who was recently appointed president of the spinal surgery section of the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics.
