8 spine & neurosurgeons on the move

Here are eight spine surgeons and neurosurgeons that joined new groups over the past few months.

Rutherford, N.J.-based Advanced Neurosurgery Associates added Allison M. Rathman, DO.

 

Spine surgeon Oheneba Boachie-Adjei, MD, of New York-based Hospital for Special Surgery, announced plans to move his practice to his home country — Ghana.

 

Mesfin Lemma, MD, formerly a spine surgeon with Johns Hopkins Orthopaedic and Spine Surgery at MedStar Good Samaritan, joined MedStar Orthopaedics.

 

The University of Cincinnati College of Medicine named John Tew Jr., MD, the integrative medicine program's vice president of community affairs at UC Health and executive director of community affairs at the college of medicine.

 

Neurosurgeon Dennis Campbell, MD, joined FirstHealth practice.

 

Colby Maher, MD, a neurosurgeon with a special interest in complex brain, spine and peripheral nerve conditions and injuries, joined Baptist Medical Group.

 

Todd Albert, MD, officially became surgeon-in-chief of Hospital for Special Surgery on July 1.

 

Neurosurgeon Paul Muizelaar, MD, PhD, a fellowship-trained neurosurgeon, joined Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, W.Va.
