Maimonides Medical Center cuts ribbon on 1st spine center in Brooklyn: 3 things to know

New York City-based Maimonides Medical Center CEO and President Kenneth Gibbs, along with chair of surgery Patrick Borgen, MD, and chair of orthopedics Jack Choueka, MD, cut the ribbon on the Maimonides Spine Center in Brooklyn.

Here are three things to know.

1. The new center is the first and only comprehensive spine center in Brooklyn, offering minimally invasive, image-guided spine surgery.

2. The new 4,400-square-foot facility combines neurosurgical and orthopedic spine care.

3. The Maimonides Spine Center offers neurodiagnostics, CT and MRI scans, fluoroscopy, EMG and nerve conduction studies.
