The Spine Journal published a study ranking the academic impact of spine surgical fellowship programs, ranking Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals in Philadelphia at the top, according to a Rothman Institute report.
The journal ranked the impact of spine surgeon fellowship programs from January 2011 through August 2014. Rothman Institute was ranked number one for both volume and academic impact.
Rothman Institute produced nearly double the publications for the second-ranked fellowship program.
