A completely revised edition of a guide to the management of pediatric neurosurgical disorders has been published by Thieme.
"Principles and Practice of Pediatric Neurosurgery, Third Edition," is now in full-color and includes more than 1,000 images. It aims to provide pediatric neurosurgeons with a clear understanding of the current evidence-based treatment and techniques in pediatric neurosurgery.
The authors of the book are:
• Leland Albright, MD, clinical adjunct professor of neurosurgery at the University of Wisconsin Health Center in Madison, Wis.
• Ian F. Pollack, MD, co-director of the Brain Tumor Program, University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute and chief of pediatric neurosurgery at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh.
• P. David Adelson, MD, director and chief, pediatric neurosurgery/children's neurosciences at Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children's Hospital.
