Neurosurgeon Dr. David Weinsweig dies

Huntington, W.Va.-based St. Mary’s Medical Center neurosurgeon David Weinsweig, MD, died last week in a car accident, according to the Charleston Gazette.

 

Dr. Weinsweig died in a single-car accident. He was a neurosurgeon for St. Mary’s for more than 20 years. “Dr. Weinsweig was truly one of the most talented neurosurgeons in the country and he was well respected by all the physicians, nurses and other medical professionals in the Tri-State,” said Senior Physician at St. Mary’s Neurosurgery Panos Ignatiadis, MD.
