The National Committee for Quality Assurance has awarded St. Paul-based spine care center Summit Spinecare recognition for its back pain program, according to a practice news release.
Summit Spinecare includes spine surgeons, non-surgical spine physicians, spine injectionists and an internal spine exercise gym. The practice was founded in 2009 to provide spine specialty care for Summit Orthopedics, a large orthopedic group in Minnesota.
Summit Spinecare was the first in the state to publish a Clinical Outcome Report Card. To receive the recognition from NCQA, the group documented clinical quality criteria across various categories.
