Fortune once again included Stryker on its "100 Best Companies to Work For" list for the 9th consecutive year.
What you should know:
1. Fortune recognizes companies with "exceptional workplace cultures." Stryker was number 11 on the list
2. Fortune and research firm Great Place to Work score companies using anonymous employee surveys. The surveys comprise more than 60 questions from the Trust Index Survey, a survey used to measure the components of a successful workplace.
3. GPTW uses the survey and weighs companies against responses from similarly-sized corporate peers.
4. Stryker Chief Human Resources Officer Kathy Fink attributed the honor to her employees. She said, "Our talented employees live our mission and values every day and go above and beyond to make healthcare and our workplace better. We thank them for their passion, commitment and drive to make Stryker a special place to work."
