25 facilities designated Hall of Fame Health 'elite care centers' for joint replacement

Hall of Fame Health has launched the Hall of Fame Elite Care Center designation for providers that demonstrate superior outcomes in joint replacement.

The organization, formed in October 2020 by the Pro Football Hall of Fame, aims to provide access to health plans with in-network availability to high-quality hospitals, physicians and orthopedic centers for former NFL players, employees and their families.

Plans are in place to expand the designation to other specialties such as cardiovascular care, neurosciences, women's health and behavioral health. Providers vying for the designation are judged on their outcomes data, patient experience and clinical leadership.

The designation allows providers to use the Hall of Fame Health emblem and will include an online campaign and other promotional efforts.

"We have so many people ask us which doctors, hospitals and facilities we work with, as they often want to access the same care as our former NFL players," Jeremy Hogue, CEO of Hall of Fame Health, said in a Dec. 22 news release. "These are the best caregivers in the country, so we should celebrate them and make them easy to find for the general public who can trust that we've done the diligence."
