James Voos, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center.
Dr. Voos is also affiliated with Cleveland-based Case Western Reserve University, where he is an associate orthopedic surgery professor.
With expertise in sports medicine, Dr. Voos serves as the Jack and Mary Herrick Endowed Director of Sports Medicine at UH as well as head team physician for the Cleveland Browns.
In September, Dr. Voos was appointed chair of University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center's orthopedics department.
He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, NFLPhysicians Society, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Association of North America.
Dr. Voos was recognized as one of Cleveland Magazine's Top Doctors. He was also selected as Crain's Cleveland Business' 'Who to Watch in Healthcare' in 2017.
After earning his medical degree from Kansas City-based University of Kansas School of Medicine, Dr. Voos completed both his residency and a sports medicine fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
